Desert Drive

We left Texas Wednesday night [Feb 26th], and just before we squeezed in a visit with Gil and his family. Seeing Ben [Gil's baby] was a real delight.






Then we drove through the night and into the next day, pulling over in Winslow, Az to have dinner at a highly recommended restaurant called the Turquoise Room. Food was more than fabulous and exactly what we needed to regain some of our road weary sanity.



We crawled into a cheap hotel in Flagstaff, Az and called it quits until the next morning. Bleu was happy with this arrangement.
